Testing conducted by Apple in April and May 2023 using production 13″ MacBook Air systems and pre-production 15″ MacBook Air systems all with Apple M2, 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 24GB of RAM and 2TB SSD, as well as production 1.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7–based MacBook Air systems with Intel Iris Plus Graphics, 16GB of RAM and 2TB SSD. Final Cut Pro 10.6.6 tested using a complex 2‑minute project with 4K ProRes 422 media. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of MacBook Air.
  4. Testing conducted by Apple in January 2024 using pre-production 15-inch and 13-inch MacBook Air systems with Apple M3, 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU and 24GB of RAM, as well as production 1.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7-based MacBook Air systems with Intel Iris Plus Graphics and 16GB of RAM, all configured with 2TB SSD. Final Cut Pro 10.7.1 tested using a complex 1‑minute project with 4K ProRes 422 media. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of MacBook Air.
